Lazy sunday

Here's a quick catch up from yesterday since I didn't blog. Please excuse the first grade writing style, but today was more exciting so I'll go into more detail about that!

At promptly 10 am on Sunday morning the beautiful sunshine outside my window woke me up. It was so nice in my warm bed that I decided to spend the morning sending emails and figuring out my life. Turns out, there is a lot to figure out! My next big goal is to figure out what classes I will take this semester, and that is as complicated as it would be to do it at Ole Miss as a freshman without any advisors or guidelines.  Oh well! I found a few courses that sound really interesting, and the rest I will make work.  My only concern will be having at least 12 contact hours per week so I am counted as a full time student by Ole Miss.

After figuring out my life, I walked to Colby's apartment and met up with him and Martin.  Together we took a tram to the park inn hotel on Alexander Platz, where Martin will be staying this week for a Fullbright conference... Let me tell y'all... His room was lovely and it had a normal shower!!!!!! It brought me back to the hotels I've gotten to stay at for accounting conferences... we are so lucky! In the afternoon we met with Colby's German friend Cleo, who he met in Bremen.  It was lovely to meet her and talk about all things German/Germany.  After a few hours had flown by, Colby and I headed back to Prenzlauerberg.  The walk was cruel, because it is STILL sooooo cold! Once back in our neck of the woods, we stopped in at a pizza place and had a delicious dinner before I headed back to sleep and rest up before classes start!

I am also posting some pictures from the walking tour that I wrote about last time. I hope y'all realize this is my campus/what is behind my campus...
